Co-designing the Future of Uncertainty-Based Learning
 
Our work focuses on developing and implementing practical, evidence-based pedagogical solutions that help learners and professionals transform uncertainty into an opportunity for learning, collaboration, and innovation. Together with expert pedagogical partners across Europe, we bridge the gap between theory and practice by creating concrete educational approaches for navigating an unpredictable world with confidence and agency.

We design, test, and refine a diverse set of pedagogical interventions tailored to different target groups, including vocational and higher education students, marginalised youth, and professionals in workplace settings. Through participatory co-design, our interventions are grounded in real-life challenges and shaped by the experiences of learners, educators, and communities.
 
A central part of our work is the implementation of authentic cross-border pilot interventions across Europe. These pilots allow us to test and adapt our approaches in different cultural and educational contexts, ensuring that the TRIC approach remains relevant, scalable, and transferable across diverse learning environments.
 
Our activities include the development of a comprehensive Pedagogical Toolkit, the implementation of local and international pilot interventions, and the continuous evaluation and refinement of learning outcomes through feedback, observation, and collaborative reflection. Partners contribute by hosting interventions within their own ecosystems, sharing field-based experiences, and supporting the integration of solutions into existing educational and organisational structures.
 
We also work to connect pedagogical innovation with recognition and lifelong learning pathways by supporting the development of flexible learning opportunities and competence recognition approaches that can be integrated into broader educational and professional contexts.
 
Our mission is to make uncertainty competence part of everyday learning and professional practice. By integrating pedagogical tools, training modules, and digital solutions into real-world contexts, we aim to support sustainable change in education and organisations across Europe. Rather than simply helping people cope with uncertainty, we empower individuals and communities to engage with uncertainty creatively, collaboratively, and productively.
